The New J. Crew

With the final September drop coming later this month on the 27th, Brendon Babenzien has brought about a level of excitement that has been lacking from J. Crew for the past few years. With a resume that includes Supreme and NOAH, Babenzien has a finger on the pulse of what people actually want to be wearing and in doing so, update the structure of a heritage brand — one that has been at the center of attainable menswear for a while. The Fall Lookbook came out earlier this summer, and has given a visualization of where the brand is headed — think varsity vibes, Americana styling, with great texture and patterns. The collection feels straight forward in the best way, but with just enough unique detail that individual personal style can shine through.

Brendon Babenzien’s first collection has been rolling out since August 1, with a final drop coming on September 27, (with exclusive collaborations and special pieces released in between).
