I mentioned this in a previous post, that the the days of an “undershirt” as something to be worn but hidden are over. Something once thought of (and still often categorized with retailers) as underwear, is coming through this year front and center. Whether worn as a base layer with an open shirt or by itself, the classic tank has been showing up and showing off.
Plus the best thing about the tank, is that the statement is made in the cleanness of the style and one of the best examples of a super inexpensive piece that can still look great. While there will always be a difference in price due to fabric and quality, this is a time where you really don’t have to worry too much about the brand. This one from Express is supersoft and comfy without overly structured fabric but your standard Hanes 7-pack will get you through an entire summer — or you can always go for the $995 one just released from Prada lol.
