It takes my body about a week to adjust to the time change to or from Daylight Savings. I am like an infant that gets off schedule and I can’t tell if it is time to eat or time to go to bed. I understand (sort of) the reasoning behind the time change, but leaving work well after the sun is down takes a little adjustment. But nothing helps dealing with time issues better than a new watch.
For an easy style tip this fall, I say pick a color… and then stick with it.
Some of the sharpest looks right now are guys going completely monochromatic, wearing different shades of the same color. For an immediate high-styled look, stay within the same color family but change up the textures, tones, and shades with different layering pieces and accessories.
For a lot of guys, one of the biggest frustrations when wearing layers is feeling unnecessarily bulky. Ensuring that you keep layers thin will always help with that, but another method is going with a vest rather than a jacket. This one from Old Navy gives just the right amount of warmth without feeling cumbersome or too puffy. The weather right now in Texas still allows for bare arms, but this vest will also be a great layering piece under a coat when the cold actually sets in.
–Old Navy is celebrating their 20th birthday by offering great sales and discounts. Check it out now, as sales all end on 10/21.
The temperatures have started to drop and with the cooler weather, it is always about layers. An easy sweater over a chambray with a top coat is always a classic look that helps keep out the brisk air.
